The past few years has seen a proliferation of African designers of fashion apparel and accessories whose talent and creativity are being showcased the world over.

Despite the international acclaim, they still face stiff competition from international designers and established brands. An uphill task until (and unless) more Nigerians get to see, buy and appreciate these local talents on a much larger scale.
